  1. John did an excellent job after a water leak from the bathroom upstairs. We had to cut through our ceiling to investigate the leak. Once the leak was found the large area had to be plastered. This is where John cam and did a great job.

He is professional and a great guy. Would highly recommend John for any plastering work.

  2. We have used Glen the past 5+ years. Our house is pretty high and not easy to clear the gutters right at the top. Glen has always done a great job as he has all the necessary equipment. Professional and a nice chap.

    Good luck.

  3. India covers 3.287 million km so there is no such thing as typical Indian food. The cuisine of Kerala in the South is as different from that of Kolkata as Cottage Pie is from Paella.

There is a whole world of fabulous regional Indian cuisine beyond the familiar favourites of chicken tikka masala, rogan josh and butter naan, all of which can often be harder to find in India than in the UK.

Perceptions of Indian food are clouded by myths: for a start, not all regional food is ?spicy?; combinations of fresh ground, roasted and whole spices are common but not obligatory; and the inclusion of chilli is by no means compulsory, either. Lovers of the endorphin-releasing pleasure of seriously ?hot? chilli-infused cooking will be able to find new levels of challenge, while taste buds prone to milder delights will find that plenty of Indians have a similar preference.

Best Indian cooking of all is found in people?s homes, so any chance to experience this should be seized. Short of that, knowledge of what to look out for in each region of India ? and where to find it ? is imperative.

  4. Try a new concept - At Kitchen Skills you go and cook with others and take home what you cooked in specially provided containers. Great Indian Street Food class is perfect.

Eat what you in the garden - No alcohol license - but you bring your own and enjoy what you have cooked in the garden. Its fun - you meet new people and costs about the same as eating in a restaurant. 5 Minutes walk from Sydenham or Forest Hill Stations.

  5. Hope it all went well for you and your guests. Maybe in the future we could help. We are a local cookery school called Kitchen Skills - We do session where the guests come to us - everyone cooks and we supply special boxes so you can take the food home. We also have a nice littel garden where sometimes guests want to hang out and eat what they have cooked.

Just a different approach to entertaining. Can be a lot of fun as food brings people together and we try and make it all fun in a nice Grade II listed building.

if you have the time - pass by and check us out. Check our Facebook page kitchenskills.co.uk/

  6. Wow Mike love the idea/business - Brilliant!

We at Kitchen Skills have yet another twist - All guests come to us - we teach them how to cook whatever they wish. At the end we provide special boxes to take the food away. Alternatively we also have a garden with tables and everyone just sits around and eats what they have cooked.

We should get together sometime and maybe we can collaborate.

Kitchen Skills (thats what we are called) is on Kirkdale check out when you get a minute kitchenskills.co.uk

  7. Bring everyone over to us - We run group cooking sessions. Its a lot of fun! Everyone learns to cook. At the end we give you special boxes to take the food home or enjoy in our garden of a Grade II listed building. The garden is small but very cosy and comfortable.

Just something very different - Just pick what you want to cook. Did an Indian Street Food for a group and they loved it. kitchenskills.co.uk take a look at what we do.
