We have an old bath panel and a wooden ladder that we no longer needed, and unfortunately these items just couldn't fit into our car in order for us to take the refuse centre.

Would anyone be willing to pick these items up for us and pop them to a local refuse centre? We're in Herne Hill.

Just want to also add a recommendation for Andy. He did some tile replacing, regrouting and application of silicone in the bathroom this week.

We need someone to replace a sliding latch lock on a bathroom door with a new one, and to fit a new 'groove' or plate in the door frame, so that the sliding latch can extend into it.

If there is a handyman to undertake this, please send me some offers, it's a very simple and straightforward 10 or 15 minute job.

Over the past 2.5 weeks I've embarked on a journey I do not wish upon my worst enemy!

The simple act of finding a good plumber who is a decent human being and also possess replying back to your messages/phonecalls skills has become more complicated than learning about rocket science!

Below you will find a list of what I've been through but in case you don't make it that far...

Can someone please recommend a plumber who can install a shower pump ASAP on a gravity fed system.

Please don't just recommend your brother in law or your best friend, and they dont ever reply back to me. Time is ticking and I'm under immense pressure from our tenants to sort this out. I've been working tirelessly for 2.5 weeks and the result is absolutely fruitless.

The torture

We've had plumbers who :

- don't reply back

- one's who come to first appointment then disappear

- one who i found on this forum with excellent reviews, we paid a £75 call out fee just to look at the problem and then he disappeared! Only sporadically replying that in fact he has availability mid sept! Despite bring told the problem and it obviously needed to be sorted out asap

- and one lovely plumber who I found from the forum who was honest and genuine, and pointed me in the direction of a specialist who happens to be going on holiday in a few days.

Hey guys, just want to let you know that the dog has now been reunited with its owner after they were tracked down from the microchip details!

Hello!! Yes i remember you of course!

Yep it is chipped, but the vet who we took it to will phone up the relevant places so they can hopefully get the owner details. Unfortunately the doggy had no collar with tag so we could have reunited owner and dog.

Hopefully it'll all be okay :)
