Thank you to all those who replied last year to my request for D of E volunteering opportunities. My daughter (age 14) enjoyed helping out at Park Run. Now she is on to Silver, please let me know of any other ideas. She will also be looking at doing Work Experience for a week next May/June and again, I would appreciate any ideas as to where she could work. She will be aged 15 by then. Thanks so much.

Please could I have any recommendations for volunteering opportunities for my 13 year old daughter for her Bronze D of E Award, working with old people, children, in libraries/charity shops? Will visit a few places this weekend but just wondered if anyone knew first hand, which organisations have accepted these young volunteers into their midst? Thank you!
