  1. Come and make your own Christmas wreath this December at the lovely EffraSpace located between Herne Hill and Brixton. You'll learn how to build seasonal foliage onto a wire ring and embellish with festive decorations to create a your own beautiful and unique Christmas wreath.


    No experience necessary. You'll be taught by Kay, an experienced florist who will guide you through the process and ensure you have a wreath to be proud of.


    All materials, including a variety of foliages, ribbons and decorations, are provided. There'll be some festive nibbles too and there's a great on-site cafe where you can buy hot and cold drinks. Nearest buses 3,37,196. Some metered parking in Effra Parade.

  3. Come along to our pop-up Christmas market at The Pyro on Saturday - 26th November. There'll be lots of lovely stalls selling everything from vintage party frocks to handmade gifts, home accessories, sweet treats, beauty products, jewellery, ceramics, artwork & Christmas cards, plus there'll be a stall outside serving delicious hot crepes. The Pyro is a lovely comfy local serving great beers, wines and a mean pint of Guinness so it's the perfect place to combine a spot of Christmas shopping with a festive tipple. Join us for our Vintage & Craft pop-up market this Saturday (November 5th )where you'll find vintage fashion, contemporary textiles, up-cycled furniture, ceramics, beauty products, gifts & cards plus entertainment from singer and Brit school graduate Josef Pitura-Riley.   6. The Sydenham Pop-Up Shop is taking part in The Sydenham Artists Trail this weekend, with a special two-day event selling all things up-cycled.


    Come and see the imaginative ways in which these talented artisans can turn an old piece of furniture into something new and contemporary, or create charming object d'art out of discarded, everyday objects like spark plugs! We have furniture, jewellery, home accessories and artwork so you're sure to find something that takes your fancy. And for the first time at the pop-up we'll have our very own vintage-style cafe. Truly Splendid will be selling traditional cakes, cream teas and drinks.
