Come and make your own Christmas wreath this December at the lovely EffraSpace located between Herne Hill and Brixton. You'll learn how to build seasonal foliage onto a wire ring and embellish with festive decorations to create a your own beautiful and unique Christmas wreath.

No experience necessary. You'll be taught by Kay, an experienced florist who will guide you through the process and ensure you have a wreath to be proud of.

All materials, including a variety of foliages, ribbons and decorations, are provided. There'll be some festive nibbles too and there's a great on-site cafe where you can buy hot and cold drinks. Nearest buses 3,37,196. Some metered parking in Effra Parade.

The Sydenham Pop-Up Shop is taking part in The Sydenham Artists Trail this weekend, with a special two-day event selling all things up-cycled.

Come and see the imaginative ways in which these talented artisans can turn an old piece of furniture into something new and contemporary, or create charming object d'art out of discarded, everyday objects like spark plugs!
