Sorry to resurrect this thread, but would anyone be up for showing me the ropes? I am soon to buy a bike and want to commute in (to Blackfriars). If anyone cycles that way, please do send me a PM.

But why not use a photo of cooked pollock? Many of the pictures of cooked pollock don't look too dissimilar to the photo above of cooked cod.

EDT my go to pub for the footy - can get a bit crowded though.

I tried this yesterday and it was the best fish 'n' chips I have had in ages. The batter was perfect - thin, light and crispy and the chips were cooked to perfection. The owner was also really friendly.
There's another chip shop (which I will not mention as I don't want to put it down)that is sometimes mentioned on this forum as the best around. Cod Fellas is better IMO.

I actually tried it based on what I'd read from you in other threads. It is a shame.

What a pity - it seems as though this takeaway has closed. Anyone know why / what it's going to become?

How are you with a screw driver? It's pretty easy to do yourself.
Petition - Peckham Rye Road Closures
in General ED Issues / Gossip
Posted
I've just seen this petition online about road closures around Peckham Rye (described further below). If this is something that concerns you, please take a minute to sign the petition.

Southwark council are trying to now set up a road closure on Peckham rye which will stop all traffic from driving down Peckham Rye (East) and turning right onto East Dulwich Road. Peckham Rye (west) already has a no right turn onto East Dulwich Road.
