just wondered what people have experienced with the various driving schools and whether or not anyone had any tips or places to try for a newbie who needs a car!

Oh gosh, that’s so crazy an amount of time to have to wait..do you mind my asking where you learnt to drive?

i think I’m wanting to do automatic lessons to try and make it a little more simple for me but am finding it hard to locate a place that has availability around my work schedule..any tips would be so kind!

I’m new to driving and am keen to get it get going and gather the knowledge as quickly as possible and then focus on gathering the confidence and time on the road before the test/getting my own car..

Does anyone know of a good instructor/intensive /semi intensive course?

Got another need for the flat!

I have some new door handles that need fitting..I almost tried myself but then got cold feet at the thought of ruining a door (which would end up costing me an arm and a leg!) so thought best to leave to a pro.

Think I just need the original space made extending (planing/filing) so not a big job at all..

Anyone know of someone who could help me out?

I?ve got a few bits and pieces needing doing in my kitchen- securing a worktop down,creating a support for a corner, moving a shelf and trimming/cutting a door down..sounds like a lot maybe but probably only a mornings work..

Does anyone have any recommendations for a caring craftsmen?

Am looking to have a complete kitchen refit and am looking for any recommendations for someone who can do the whole lot- removal of old units and appliances,tiles and then fitting the new units and tiling the floor/splash back tiles.

Just wondered if anyone has been to the post office recently on lordship lane and can advise on when it is most quiet?

Or if the hours of working have changed?

I have not been out for a long while and am feeling fairly anxious.

I have a small bathroom in need of a complete refit. I?ve been putting it off for a while but the time has come!

Who might anyone else have used? I know bells always comes high on the recommendation list but wondered about any plumbers or other places that might have been considered too.

I might like someone to oversee the work too if not crazy expensive.. hoping to complete it this summer if at all possible ..
