  1. Our beautiful 3-bedroom 1930s semi is available for short- and mid-term lets (potentially longer) from mid-May. The house is on Forest Hill Road, close to Peckham Rye. It has been stylishly renovated throughout to contemporary tastes and features an open plan kitchen-diner facing a lovely garden, a separate living room, a bathroom (walk-in rain shower & a freestanding bathtub), 2 double bedrooms and a study, which is currently used as a nursery. The house is fully furnished and equipped - ideal for someone who needs a temporary home and would like to just move in. Shops, several bus routes, cafes and two excellent pubs are on the road. We're ideally looking for someone who would like to rent it for 3+ months. The house is currently on Airbnb, but we would prefer to find someone local or new to the area and come to an arrangement that works for both. Rent is negotiable (within reason). If you're interested or have questions, please send me a message! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/781824016000333723?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=db4603f7-6a1b-4dff-8cf1-37de39b7a871
  2. Our 6 year old son was privately assessed for dyspraxia (DCD) at home by an amazing OT. Her name is Monica Boyce. Also going via school referral in parallel which takes much longer. From our brief experience, dyspraxia is still poorly understood and not that easy to diagnose. The team we got referred to via the school was very kind, but in my opinion they misinterpreted some of the information we have given them, leading to another diagnosis that I think is highly unlikely to be correct. We've found some strategies that really helped our son, e.g. easy grip pencils and visual storyboards to help him stay organised. PM me if you have any questions.
  3. If abroad is an option, Austria has some fab Kinderhotels and lots of child-friendly hotels that have room for families of 5. They also come with excellent service!
  4. Hello! I need your help. I'm working on a project that aims to tackle the care crisis for the elderly - something that matters to everyone with parents of a certain age. It would be great if you could help us by giving some feedback on our initial thinking. It won't take much time and your opinion would be much appreciated. All it takes is that you sign up, you will then receive a link to a test website as soon as it goes live and invited to give your feedback via a survey. If you're interested, simply fill out the form on the link below. Thank you ever so much! https://www.wearesharecare.co.uk/
