  1. Another recommendation for Lizzie at Dulwich Therapy Rooms!

We went through exactly what you describe, but three or four sessions with Lizzie sorted my little one right out. Lizzie was really good at explaining the physiology to me - how the tongue tie effected the jaw movement - which I found useful. And it was lovely seeing my baby being able to open wide for a textbook latch at long last!

    Good luck with it.

  2. Hi there,

The last few times I've been to York I've stayed in one of these apartments: https://www.clearlyapartments.co.uk/

They're all really centrally located and pretty good value I reckon. Over the summer we went to York as a family and they were able to provide a travel cot for us, no problem. You can book online obviously, or there's a really helpful lady in their office, Jane, who might be able to advise which apartment would be the best fit for your family.

    Hope that helps!

Ps Like your cunning plan :)

  3. Hi there,

I wondered if someone with experience of a Bugaboo Bee might be able to help me out with some advice...

Before Christmas I bought a great second-hand Bee which came with various accessories, but not the cocoon for newborns. I know you can buy generic, unbranded footmuffs for older children that fit the Bee and are significantly cheaper than the Bugaboo branded ones. But does anyone know if you can get something suitable for newborns? If not, I'll happily buy a Bugaboo one, but just thought I'd see if I could save a few pennies first!

    Many thanks,

    Natalie xx

  4. Hello!

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on organising a meet up. I'd definitely be keen to join! Like some others, I'll be more flexible in the New Year, but of course very happy if that means joining in at a second meet up.

rougepamplemousse - I'm very impressed with your collating of everyone's dates! To be more specific, I'm due on 9th March (though not holding my breath for an arrival on that date!!).

    Hope everyone's well,

    n xx

  5. Hi Emma,

We used Dulwich Lofts last year and were really pleased with their work. The builders that did the actual work were very friendly, polite and not too intrusive (given how much time we spent together in the house!), and they got the job done swiftly. And Pat, the main guy, has been great in following up on the odd glitch afterwards. We chose to use them after seeing the work they'd done on our neighbour's house, and I think it's fair to say she was equally pleased with the standard of their work.

If you'd like to pop in and see what they did in our property, we'd be more than happy to show you.

    Best wishes,

    Natalie
