  3. Surely many prescription medicines have some element of natural ingredients or derive some impact from a natural source - surely therefore some herbal remedies must have benefits.
  4. More suffering = Greater chance of place in Heaven. Sean is playing the long game. He wants that Utopia sooo bad.
  5. Nurofen Cold and Flu if really bad - you can get hooked on those little babies.
  6. St John of Youghal - I can see it now.
  7. Relax Rosie.
  8. Oooh - The strength of the drink on ryanair these days... The only time i have ever succeeded in an appeal against these people was in a bus lane outside Kings when dropping lovely wife off in "l"abour and I still had to write 3 letters to avoid the charge. Had to then provide birth certificate of child born later that day before fine was dropped. In the end think Rosie is just about right - if you mess up you pay. Unless you have a VERY good excuse.
  9. The last line of that last post.... I don't think you meant "Woof" - I think you meant "GRRR" Have some balls doggy.
  10. DJKQ - Thats far too serious - we need to address that in the morning, At the moment I feel we need to focus on Guinness and potatoes.
  11. Just to clarify - I'm saving for a better weddng, not a better wife. Bit like buying an improved engagement ring - same relationship, just a happier face. :)
  12. Where were you exactly ? Were you incommunicado? Do they speak english? Do they have the net? electricity ? potatoes?
  13. I could only afford one. But I'm saving for a better one next time.
  14. Narnia - tell your son to go to Uni and not bother you ever again.
  15. Its a brilliant thread, 3 posts already. But be careful Loz, he is a "hedgie" so he is no doubt extremely popular - if you call him a "banker" he is very unpopular.

Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If you Google you will find a lot of information > on the net about TCM. > > Are you sure it is something that he picked up > from you, and not asthma? I understand that asthma > is becoming increasingly common. Yes - its very popular Sue - an inhaler in tight trousers is all the rage.
  17. It was really easy. Left the wife and kids at home and went to work, which was easy too. Sorry to hear about your day old chap.
  18. :) rosie... How did we think it went tonight? I liked Hugh Hendry as the voice of capitalism giving it his best shot against the Labour/Liberal political panel. Nice to see a Wall Street character for real, red specs, square watch and all. Social housing was under scrutiny - it was referred to a social clensing which drew great distain- but it was pointed out that it is surely not right for the taxpayer to line the pockets of Chelsea landlords who up rents of unemployed tenants at the expense of the taxpayer generally. The politics of torture - Hugh Hendry was vilified as a supporter of torture but he did not actually say that in so many words and the liberals of course jumped on him - but in reality, he meant be tough on terrorism, lets not be too liberal.
  19. Room 101.
  20. Sean - What is the intellectual opposite of the drawing room. Can you move this thread.
  21. Jah - please try to see that I am at least making an attempt at humour - every time I see your name now I expect to get a bollocking of some sort. If it looks odd at first sight it probably means something different from the obvious. I don't know if she is 81 or not, but I think its very unlikely.

  23. I'll let you into a secret Jah, she's not really 81.

Wonderful My recollection is more like: "So Debbie, What was it that first attracted you to the short, bald ......multi millionaire, Paul Daniels?"

I think Quids has a lengthy rule book on this sort of thing. I think he calls this a "self assist". It may be disallowed under rule 42.2© if I interpret it correctly.
