  6. Don't talk to me about Virgin! I signed up with them 4 months prior to opening my shop Really Maria in Lordship Lane. Their engineers came, sprayed some green paint on the floor infront of the shop and left me to wait for the installation. I delayed opening the shop in the hope that we'd have wifi to enable us to use our EPOS system and take card payments. In the end I was so fed up of their pathetic excuses for the on going delays, that I cancelled and opted for talk talk who were absolutely brilliant and only took a month to complete everything.

    So yes, they are indeed the most incompetent!

    Book week is approaching, but have you got your children's costumes yet? If not, don't panic.....here at Really Maria we sell the supplies to help you make your own. We have felt, Pom poms, wool, fabric, feathers, sequins, masks, glue etc. we are open everyday apart from Monday.

  11. Good memory, yes that was my mother that you saw, both her and my late father run one of the first restaurants that opened along Lordship Lane back in the early sixties called the Savarin. Some people may remember when my mother run the children's nursery/puahchair shop before she leased it out to the Deli. I'm happy that we are back running a new business in our old shop. The reception we've received from the Dulwich residents has been very warm, welcoming and positive,.....it good to be back!
