  1. Thank you Jennys
  2. Local Studies Library used to get a photographic company/man to copy theirs and then deliver them-not sure if they still do. Looking through some of the drawers and drawers of old photos is amazing!
  3. *blushes* Thanks numbers...
  4. Dog lovers-maybe you could also share this with friends not on here? ;-)
  5. Dog's Trust Freedom Project is aimed at placing dogs with foster carers whilst the family escape domestic violence, and I'm happy to share with you my experiences if anyone would like to help with this worthwhile cause. Everything the dog needs is supplied, all I provide is love and exercise! It's such a pleasure knowing I'm helping a family which has made that difficult decision to break away, as pets are commonly used as emotional blackmail to keep someone in a violent home. Please PM me with any questions or for more details or Google Dog's Trust Freedom Project

Good point Soozie but as a volunteer in a charity shop not a million miles away, I have to say we receive the most eclectic mix of donations it's possible to have-some items are personally pointed out by the donor as being worth a fair amount and we have to respect that and get as good a price as we can. For example-jewellery, new with tags designer items or fantastic pieces of furniture. It's a fine balance between honouring the donor, maximising money for our charity and keeping customer's happy so they'll come back!

Just ask and > we will fix it for you. I'm really looking forward to having the tagliatelle with broad beans again, and I'm so not a pasta lover! Just waiting for the perfect excuse to have a big lunch and hoping the menu doesn't change too much! I refused a flyer the other day-said I was already convinced it was a big improvement!
  8. I came in today with 2 friends and we LOVED the food, but although you make it clear here, it's not terribly clear on the menu that the special is not a choice from said menu but is a starter and main chosen by yourselves? So for example as a veggie person I couldn't go for the special because it was terrine then sausages! Just a minor quibble-I had the tagliatelle which was MAGNIFICENT, and my friend was in raptures after having the duck too. And I raved about the place all afternoon at work! We'll be back ;-) Thecherrytree Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So the tech team have the website back on. 9. Steve literally turned up within 5 minutes and did a speedy repair in no time! There are days when I love the forum and this was one of them. Will use Steve again, no hesitation in recommending him 100 percent!!
  10. Hi Cherrytree... Could you give an example of your special offer for lunch menu please? Coming in next week! 11. Handed in to caf?. The keys had 2 trinkets attached, one was a butterfly. If this sounds like your keys they were found near the Court lane entrance
  12. Pato, why not try and organise a singles night for ED people? A friend of mine did something similar and put herself on the door to meet and greet-long story short she met her life partner!
  13. Bottomless Brunch in The Great exhibition pub is fab...Crystal Palace Road
  14. I'm still reeling from this news, saw Jon in the most recent Car Man, also in a magnificent Swan Lake by the same company. Truly a tragic loss.

Front left isn't safer when they hit a low hanging tree and have the roof ripped off! This has happened twice recently...
  16. Caf? G facing Peckham Rye, always a busy friendly place. Suddenly isn't! New faces behind the till, none of them the old smiley staff so was wondering if they have moved on?
  17. They normally are going too fast for me to get a number, also it's usually towards dusk when I see them. One idea I had was hitting their Facebook page with complaints? I've seen Firezza which are in Herne Hill and Pizza Go Go branded bikes, is anyone else up for that? Or a head office complaint, although they may be frachised ukalec Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If you think motorised bikes and scooters are > being used in areas where they shouldn't be - take > a registration and report them to 101. > > I have physically grabbed the handlebars of a > scooter cutting between Greendale and the bottom > of Dylways and made him get off and walk it > through. 18. Maybe there's a ward panel meeting coming up soon? Not sure if they still have them but would be worth raising by affected people?
  19. I DON'T live anywhere along here, just a very regular user of what should be a SAFE cycle and pedestrian pathway. There is a dangerous trend for motorbikes to bomb along and it's an accident waiting to happen. Agree with the CCTV suggestion, again-are any friends of Greendale reading this please? 20. I've seen this and mentioned it to a patrolling officer once. Wonder if 'friends of' Greendale could suggest anything? There have also been instances of burnt out bikes being dumped in the big field along there.

  22. At the large St. Christopher's in Lordship Lane we can get money for rags, just war us when donating and we won't go through the bags, just directly 'rag' them. Thanks
  23. Was about to suggest Stratford on Avon before I saw this - perfect place with enough culture and countryside to please. Or Lyme Regis, had a romantic week there once-quite quaint. Cinque Ports area is varied-some nice walking and hotels. Rye is lovely sophie_e_down Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Love all of these... > > Has anyone been to any of the following? > > Bristol > Cheltenham > Winchester > Stratford-upon-Avon > Harrogate > > Thoughts?
  24. All good, thanks
  25. I'm getting bored of walking my dog in the same 3 places-Greendale, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Any other suggestions please? Big enough so she can run around off the lead ideally, but a change of scene would be lovely!!
