Seems to be back up and running again for the last 24 hours.

Hi, as per the title, looking to maximise space in our house and install storage/cupboards under our stairs in East Dulwich.
Thanks!

What's crap about it? Looks like a nice house.

If you have a repeat prescription I would advise a mail order pharmacy like Lloyds Direct. Then you can guarantee that the delivery is going to be made to your house.

Look at this: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/network/status-checker
Put in an SE22 postcode and you can see a big old exclamation mark over the co-op, where I think there's a transmitter. I first noticed it in December and have tried to get in touch with them but they just say that they're aware that there's an issue.

Lol, people really like a whinge don't they. First off, the Chinese whispers of the shop closing for 4 days and now the near-hysteria about people not being able to find the butter aisle. Pretty hilarious.

Looks like fun, happy to have things going on locally.

That's a disaster, one of my favourite Indian takeaways in the area 😞

Good, because they're rubbish and the unbelievably slow.

I think the original poster might be joking when they refer to it as war-torn. It's hyperbole, to take it literally is just mental.

If you are in a wheelchair (a tiny, tiny fraction of the population) then you already know you have hard luck, a few extra bicycles on the street is hardly going to push you over the edge. Besides they are surprisingly competent at navigating obstacles, which is rarely taken into account.
Its a stupid argument anyway. Typical NIMBY response to something they dont want or like- "what about the wheelchairs", "what about the schoolkids", "what about this, and what about that". Lets just do absolutely nothing in future in case we inconvenience someone somewhere, yeah?
Bugger me, what a shitty attitude.

I live close to Luca's and walk past it daily. I wont miss it at all- the folk sat outside it on weekend mornings and weekday afternoons look very smug and pleased with themselves as they chow down on expensive sourdough bread and avocado and talk to their pet dog tied up to the table.
Sounds like more of a you problem than them, to be quite honest.

N London lament over council’s allowing of park to be used for events similar to the one being discussed on this forum
Tough Mudder is completely different, especially at this time of year. It will always destroy the grass due to the nature of the event and it being Spring, the ground is even more likely to get churned up.

so do you think its a new shop that don't get stock in or a shop that sells a lot of stock ??
The people. Empty of people, not stock.

Seems pretty consistently near-empty. Can't see the shop lasting.

I go there regularly around that time and it is pretty busy as I guess that most people will be trying to get their workout in before work. There is always some machine/equipment free, so as long as your workout is quite malleable you should be able to find something to work out on without queuing.

I lament the loss of Iceland to this day

Hi, I think it's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string?' kind of question as there are a lot of different designs which require different materials, levels of effort, etc... but the extension companies will come in and give you a quote.

I think it's great, especially given that there's a family day. Bring it on!

And sorry, in reply to his name, it's Pops and he might pay attention to that!
Thanks.

Hi Heather,
That's really kind of you, thank you for getting in touch :)
We kept him in for 4 days, which I know isn't long enough and in retrospect we should have held out against his will, but he was going pretty potty and destroying the house and furniture being kept inside! He did go out and come back a few days and nights, so we were quite comfortable-ish he knew how to get back.
The house has a catflap into the back garden, but there are parts from the neighbours' gardens where he could potentially have got out onto the street.
Fingers crossed that he's ok, hopefully he shows up sooner or later.
Thanks again!

Hi All,
My wife and I are new to the area, live on Crawthew Grove and our little cat has gone missing. We haven't been here long, so he's probably a bit confused and doesn't know where he is :(
He is microchipped, so that's something, but if you have seen him at at all then it would be appreciated if you could please let me know.
Thanks.
