  1. We loved this bouncer and so did our son. It’s very easy to wash, dries super fast and it can be set to two different modes (plus adjusts to baby’s weight - 3 settings). Comes from a pet and smoke free home. Collection from near the Crystal Palace station.
  2. We loved this crib and are reluctant to part with it but our baby needs a bigger bed now. The crib is in excellent condition and comes from a clean, pet and smoke free home. It’s in a beautiful dark green colour. It comes with a mattress and I will throw in some original Snüz bedsheets with it, including a never used waterproof bedsheet. The crib was used for 5 months - although it can be used until 6 months. It was bought from John Lewis and I think it should still be under warranty (not sure if it’s transferable). To be picked up from close to the Crystal Palace station / Price: £60
  3. Thank you so much for your advice. I just saw it, hence my late reply. I will definitely check St. Thomas.
  4. I need to choose maternity care, and would appreciate some advice. The closest to me would be King’s College Hospital, but I have read mix reviews and the Care Quality Report is quite dated (from 2022). Another option could be St. Thomas, but it’s a bit far. Did anyone had recent experience with King’s? Are there any better options close by?
  5. I would advise to avoid Virgin. We had problems with them in the past and now can't find a way to leave. We are moving our house and phoned them up to cancel the contract, but later found out that they didn't actually do it. Having have to call them each year to re-negotiate the contract is a horrible experience, as they try to trick you all the time. Most of the people I spoke to seem to follow the same pattern: ignore what you told them and keep selling you things, at times being rude or arogant. A friend of mine left them years ago and they keep sending her junk mail all the time. She asked them to stop several times and they just ignored her.
  6. Hello, I thought I'd share this here, as a lot of migrant voters are still not aware that they might be allowed to vote in the upcoming general elections. To vote in a UK general election a person must be registered to vote and also: - 18 or over - be a British citizen, a qualifying Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of the Republic of Ireland - not be subject to any legal incapacity to vote Before you can vote, you must first register to vote. The process is simple and usually only takes 5 minutes.I The easiest is to register online. Go to: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. The deadline is 26 November 2019. You can also register directly with your local electoral registration office. To find your local electoral registration office, and contact them directly, go to: https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/register-to-vote/find-your-local-authority.
