  1. This is a local mum who has just set up her own business and makes truely fantastic cakes (they don't just look great but taste great too - I know I've tasted one). See the gallery below. Or call Jen on +44 77 176 82728 wwww.bespokecakeslondon.com
  2. Yep, same problem here usually my son just moans a bit (until I'm awake grrr) then goes back to sleep but he was very unsettled this morning. I had to resort to giving him a bottle at 5 and luckily he went back down until half 7. He never actually slept through (7 till 7) until the planes were cancelled for 3 days due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Up to that point 6 out of 7 days I gave him a 5:00am bottle of milk and put him back down.
  3. I didn't say there was anything wrong with Jeremy Clarkson/Donal MacIntyre and Jeremy Kylie did I! Read my post carefully! That's you opinion if you don't find the said trio full of intelligence, daring-do and incisive wit.
  4. I secretly suspect the man behind jrussel isn?t too far away from the man he created as jrussel i.e the real jrussel is an aspiring journalist who is a cross between Jeremy Clarkson/Donal MacIntyre and Jeremy Kylie in terms of intelligence, daring-do and incisive wit . Will be very surprised if you turn out to be a post-menopausal retired post-mistress - out of interest will we be getting a low down on who the real jrussel is in the article?
  5. Well JRussel you maniac. You played the part of a pompous, conservative and generally embittered and angry young man (or not so young - guessing early 30?s - someone who isn?t quite doing as well in terms of material wealth and personal relationships as some of his peers) with such convincing gusto your name even became a by-word for narrow mind reactionary opinion in certain parts of the forum. Kind of intrigue to see what your true persona is!
  6. What next - a baby carrier that attaches to your thigh - actually that would work for twins...where's that Dragon's Den number....
  7. Thanks to everyone for the advice. Reassuring to know it's all worked out in the end for everyone without any kitty cats being re-homed. Hopefully I won't have any more wounds to treat but Saffron thanks for the advice on the best method to treat them if I do. I'll definitely make sure my cat gets more love from me and a few treats from the boy too.
  8. Hi My 14 month old has been scratched across the face close to his eyes twice in the past 2 weeks by our cat. On both occasions he approached the cat and the cat has taken offence. I know I have to keep a more careful eye on both of them but I?m wondering how practical this is? Other cats seem to sense it?s wrong to scratch a baby/very young child and generally move away. I was wondering how other people?s cats react when approached by an over eager toddler and how do you police child/toddler cat interactions? Sadly neither incident has dented my sons sense of unbridle pleasure whenever he sees the cat. I also get the sense both times the cat knew I wasn?t watching him - first time they were alone in a room together, second time I had my back turned while drying my hair. Maybe I?m crediting my cat with too much malicious intelligence here but he?s never tried anything directly in front of me. Thanks.
