  1. has lost a Bengal cat there was one wandering around Townley Road this morning - I'm assuming it is not the norm for this fellow to be out and about solo but I'm not a cat expert... IMG_5815.heic IMG_5819 2.heic
  2. Was v. quick for me the other day and four people were ahead of me.
  3. Even with Acrobat pro - it does not open even though it is an acrobat doc. Error: "Adobe Acrobat could not open 'April 2025 Dulwich Hill Newsletter.pub' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then choose Save as Adobe PDF from the PDF dropdown in the Print dialog."
  4. Just to say - it is most delicious as a Turkish restaurant! Also - a v. good margarita....
  5. Relatives stayed at the Half Moon in Herne Hill and liked -

  8. Have you taken another covid test? It is def on the rise -
  9. Just had a meal at Vietflavours - we tried all the vegan things as one of us is that. Delicious. Incredibly nice staff. A new favourite for sure.
  10. When I press "book an appointment" it simply say there are no available appointments. You must have had a lucky day with it? Here's more info on Omnes/Evergreen/Concordia in addition to the info in the article about one of their practices being taken over again by the NHS - https://www.nhsforsale.info/private-providers/concordia-health-new/ The formation and dissolution of companies is interesting... https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/people/12159522-mr-adam-hurd?page=companies https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/people/11150700-mr-toby-hurd When I asked two different persons at the practice how many Doctors they had neither gave a direct answer but one did say recruitment has been difficult ...
  11. Sorry - I did not ring 111 - I was just explaining that the practice said I should call 111 and get an appointment that way with the ad hoc non-practice doctors who do not work for the practice rather than use them. Which is ridiculous.
  12. I've written to Helen Hayes and would encourage everyone to do so. I have tried for 3+ weeks for an appointment - including going in in person. I was told there is a staff shortage, to call 111 and they would assign a doctor so I could be seen thru the other side - by the for hire doctors that the other side of Tessa Jowell has spaces for. It is obviously to the advantage of doctors to work ad hoc for more money but this makes for a broken system.
  13. Blackbird bakery on Grove Vale -
  14. I think it will be the same as the spring booster - you will receive a text to make an appointment - after a few checks, it will then ask you to enter your postcode and you will be presented with choices to make an appointment with a nearby pharmacy or hospital from a list... And true re: - above -- prioritisation - so I guess be patient - you'll eventually be contacted....
