  1. Pets at Home Savic cage, in an extra-large size that they don't seem to do any more (79cm long plus a couple of extra cm for external clips; 61cm high; 48cm wide). Deep tray. Spacious & relatively light. We used it as a travel cage: it fitted in the boot of our family car, whereas our other day-to-day cage was too large. Some damage to one corner of yellow plastic tray (see photo), and one missing yellow plastic screw for the upper level (pictured), hence only £25.
  2. Little Zoo Ventura spacious metal cage (£159 new), Mocha colour. Very good condition. Excellent design: deep tray helps limit bedding being spread out of cage; double front doors open fully to make for easy cleaning. This is the lower half of what can be a bigger cage, if you want to extend (https://tinyurl.com/2h7ehnve). We didn't need to try this, as we only had 2 rats, and it was already ample space. Length 93cm x width approx 68cm x height 84cm including wheels (cage itself is approx 74cm high). Plus some accessories if you want them, including quiet, non-drip water bottle (much quieter at night than the ones with ball valves).
  3. Attractive solid oak coffee table, with 2 glass panels. Good condition overall. Some scratches on glass (worst one illustrated), but these are not distracting. Minor scuffing that would benefit from a light sand & oil. Would like to keep, but selling as don't have space. 127cm long x 56cm wide x 41cm tall.
  4. Hi, I've recently got a pair of female rats for my kids. They're young and friendly creatures, and very good fun. But I'm hoping to find someone who might be up for looking after them on occasion, when we're away on holidays. Someone who doesn't have a cat or dog, but who likes animals. Perhaps someone who's thinking of getting a pet for themselves or their kids, but wants to get more of a sense about what that would involve. Or someone who doesn't want the commitment of having a pet long-term, but wants to be a part-time pet person? Our ratties live in a large-ish cage (84cm high, 93cm long, 68cm deep), and don't need that much looking after -- just checking food and water, and any social interaction / calm handling would also be welcome. On longer stays of over a week, it might involve changing their bedding, but I'd provide everything, and the cage has deep trays, so is pretty easy to clean. If you're able to help, or think you might be but would like to know more, please drop me a line! Cheers, Danny
  5. Spin Doctor Steve is a credit to his profession. Punctual, honest, competitively priced and no-nonsense. He cracked on with the repair, and when my washing machine proved to be beyond saving, he offered advice on what to replace it with. Highly recommended. Thanks!
