  1. I'm looking for a man and van to help a friend move from London to Wakefield (near Leeds). No furniture - just boxes of clothes and other possesions but enough for a small van. Pick up in London and drop off in Wakefield. If anyone would like to give me a price or contact me for more info I can give you more details. Dates flexible but needs to be by next weekend(3-4th April) or early the following week. Thanks.
  2. I asked Harris Dulwich Boys about this? They say in year 11 boys can study English Lit and Eng Lang, Triple Science, Maths, Spanish and either History or Geography. All the boys do BTEC Sport but this is in their ordinary PE time so not instead of another subject. And then boys can choose two more option subject on top of that eg music, RE, Design Tech, Performing Arts. So I think that?s 10 subjects altogether. I think that?s right. I guess it?s the sort of question to ask at the online open day which they are advertising on their website https://www.harrisdulwichboys.org.uk/
  3. I see Harris Dulwich Boys is having an online open day event on Thurs 24th Sept, 6pm, according to their website https://www.harrisdulwichboys.org.uk/ - and there's a page of films and other info about the school for Year 6 parents.

I've found this website too https://www.southwark.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/secondary-admissions/secondary-schools-open-days-and-evenings which has links to all local secondary school websites so I guess it's a case of checking the different websites to find out about what each school is doing about online events.

  4. Another thumbs up for Plusrooms. If you're not used to building works, having a kitchen extension can seem daunting but I always felt in safe hands with them. The project manager and builder were excellent and I always felt confident the work was being carried out to a very good standard. The electical work did come in over estimate slightly and there were some small hiccups with the finishing (and I didn't use them for the flooring or decorating) but overall I was extremely happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
  5. Hi Rachel

We have a desk at our shared office space that becomes free from end of July. It's on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich (near the Co-op supermarket). There are two big bring rooms with two desks in each and plenty of space for storage. At present it's home to a copywriter, digital animator and computer programmer. It's ?264 a month inclusive of bills and good Wi-Fi. If you're interested in taking a look feel free to PM me or call/text 07973 907844.

  6. I also used Jacqui Teggin (Green & Teggin) recently for an ideas consultation and found it helpful. She spent three hours at my place measuring the space (it's for a potential side extension) and then doing some initial drawings showing how we might use the space (and gave an indication of possible costs). She did several options for using the space, which was helpful. They charged ?300 for the service but it was a useful thing to have done, so I thought it was money worth paying.
