Hello all! I wanted to give a huge shout out & recommendation to my incredible CrossFit gym, ShiroKuma based a quick 176/40/12/484 bus ride away in Camberwell. As someone who suffered with gym anxiety, but wanted to get into lifting and CrossFit training, it was amazing to find this good vibes gym with the most incredible trainers, Katherine & James. I’ve now been a member for 4 years and it’s the best decision I’ve made. Classes are never more than 12 people so you always get amazing attention and coaching in each session, which I hadn’t experienced before in other gyms. If you’re curious about trying a CrossFit workout, or you are already experienced but want to get to your next level, ShiroKuma is the best place. The workouts are carefully programmed so everyone can adjust them to their own needs and abilities - and before you know it, you’ll be doing pull ups and Olympic lifting in no time! If anyone has any questions or wants to talk through what a typical week at the gym looks like, I would be more than happy to have a chat ☺️ https://shirokumahf.co.uk/ Check out their Instagram for some inspiration & to get a sense of the gym!

Beautiful mandarin duck spotted in the pond this morning ☺️

The room on the right hand side has been set up as a restaurant; whereas the left hand side & behind the bar is still open for drinks & food! 🙂 yes saw the doors open to the lounge upstairs where I think/hope they will have their TVs set up for sport games again as they have all been removed from the downstairs room 🙂

Went to the EDT last night for their 50% off menu launch and it was delicious! Their starters were excellent - we had the aubergine & the Korean chicken, highly recommend 🤩 it’s definitely more on the pricier side now food-wise, but has a lovely vibe still as a pub one side and then a restaurant the other side (similar to The Palmerston). Looking forward to going back ☺️

We called customer services to find out if we could collect our post as we hadn’t received post for 6 weeks - then they told us they had 72hrs to deliver all of our post they had if we then raised a complaint. We received stacks full from the postie within 24hrs of doing this - worth a shot for anyone else waiting on post!

Posting on behalf of the missing dog?s owner: Hey, my dog was taken today at about 14:40 from peckham rye park. She is a staffie/greyhound that looks more like a whippet with a dark brindle coat. If anybody saw anything or sees her being walked by a woman I would really appreciate any information. Hello! My car has a small leak in the radiator, which I?ve been told could be fixed with Radweld. All the shops are of course shut today, however I need to be able to drive tomorrow. Does anyone have any Radweld at home they could share to help? Will exchange for a bottle of wine! Thank you Hannah
