Join us for a talk on Beekeeping at Bell House in Dulwich Village this Saturday 20th January from 10am - 1pm
Philip Nicholson will be giving a half day 'Beekeeping for Beginners' taster session at Bell House on Saturday 20th January starting at 10am and finishing about 1pm. The session is aimed at people who have little or no experience of beekeeping, but are interested in knowing more, perhaps with a view to starting to keep bees themselves or with others - or perhaps not! All beginners welcome.

This will tie in with Bell House's new apiary and bee-related educational events and courses in the coming months.

My Child is Different - Parenting seminar
Join us at Bell House for a seminar on how to use positive parenting skills to enable your child to succeed if they are struggling at school because of their special educational needs.
Our speaker Elaine Halligan is a parenting coach who was inspired to retrain in behaviour management in an effort to help manage her own son?s educational needs. For the past 10 years Elaine has coached parents to understand their children?s temperaments and enable them to unlock their full potential.
This seminar will be hosted at Bell House, Dulwich on the 16th January from 7-9pm. Parents, teachers, and anyone else who is interested are all very welcome. In order to make this event accessible to everybody, we are inviting donations instead of a fixed fee. Please donate as little or as much as you can afford, or feel is appropriate.

Join us at Bell House for our second dyslexia talk by Caroline Bateman on the theme of using technology to transform education for dyslexic students. This time, Caroline will be going into depth about supporting secondary school students.
The talk is aimed at anyone interested in IT for dyslexics at secondary school level including parents, teachers, tutors, adult dyslexics, or secondary school students.
When: Tuesday 28th November, 7-9pm
Where: Bell House, 27 College Road, Dulwich, SE21 7BG

Bell House, a new educational charity based in Dulwich, is hosting an introductory beekeeping course on Saturday 18th November.
At Bell House we have now established a small apiary with a view to supporting beekeeping and bee-related educational events and courses in the coming months.
To start this off, our beekeeper Philip will be giving a half day 'Beekeeping for Beginners' taster session at Bell House on Saturday 18th November starting at 10am and finishing about 1pm. The session is aimed at people who have little or no experience of beekeeping, but are interested in knowing more. Topics to be covered include: the honey bee colony; the beehive; the beekeeping year; honey; swarming and swarm management; pests and diseases; beekeeping equipment and costs.
We look forward to introducing you to this fascinating craft!
