Nevertheless She Persisted - A Night of Defiant Comedy is a charity fundraiser for Resonance FM and Mama Biashara, at the gorgeous Ivy House in Nunhead, hosted by hosts of Resonance radio show Nevertheless She Persisted, Lisa Moyle, Rose Ives and Blanche Cameron. Join us for music and comedy to celebrate our show's first year! Starring the brilliantly funny, award-winning storyteller Martha McBrier, the ineffable Phil Kay, the joyful Charmian Hughes, the hilarious Matt Price, 'comedy terrorist' Aaron Barschak and live music from pianist, composer and founder of the Kaleidoscope Quartet, Tamara Barschak. MC'ed by the incredible Kate Copstick, terrifying comedy critic at The Scotsman and founder of the charity Mama Biashara.
