  1. I agree. Every time I'm in the park, the female is sitting on the fence staring into the trees as though waiting for her mate to return. Egyptian geese mate for life, and it is well documented that geese who lose a mate mourn for a long time, if not forever, and often stop eating. Unfortunately these birds have very recently been put on the list of 'invasive species', and yes 'they are only birds', but would it really be so hard to either return the male to the park, or relocate the female to the sanctuary where her mate is when the young geese are old enough?
  2. I'd recommend you switch providers. We had terrible service from Virgin Media for years ??connection frequently hanging or cutting out completely, and unhelpful customer service. They always gave the same response when queried: "We are working on improving the connection issues in your area". Since switching providers a couple of years ago we've had no problems at all (apart from when a neighbour's cat trespassed into our house and pee'd on the modem, but that wasn't the provider's fault!).
  3. Hi Kirsty. We were just talking about you when we got him back. Your little visiting tabby was so like him, just a bit smaller. Thanks for being so nice when we came round. Jacqui x

  4. Aw Rutheep. I remember talking to you - you said he followed you down Lacon Road, is that right? I'm sorry you felt bad after that, but you had no idea he was missing at that point and neither did we!! But he's back now and it's all fab. Jacqui x

  5. I wonder if there's a way to get in touch with samyb1. Someone is looking after a cat which they believe is the tabby mentioned in this post. If there is no contact, she may have to take it to a rescue shelter if she can't continue to look after it. If it is microchipped, hopefully the owners will be reached, if not then they may not.
