  1. Hi, has anyone had a garden office installed in the last few years? If so, could you recommend any particular firms? There are so many, the mind is boggling. Ideally we want something more modern/contemporary looking rather than a Wendy house look, but don?t want to pay a fortune!
  2. Brockley farmers market is an excellent example of how to run an outdoor market and stick to the rules. They have a one way in and out system, stewards monitoring numbers at the gate and only allowing people in with masks, all stallholders have a strict queuing system as well. I know it?s a little harder with a street market, but a lot of good lessons could be learnt from how they do things.
  3. Yes but the seat part isn?t actually that big, so larger toddlers don?t always fit, and toddlers are the ones more likely to run off or play up, hence why they often still need to be in the trolley. Where possible I think most parents would leave small children at home (if they had someone there) as supermarket shopping is way easier without them, but not everyone has that option!
  4. Hi, we were using a fantastic temp nanny until just recently, whilst waiting for a nursery spot (my little girl just turned 3 and was ready for nursery or else we def would have kept her on permanently) PM me if you would like her details.
  5. Not ED but Nunhead, we have neighbours a few doors down, who in the summer (or anytime the weather is over 16C and sunny) have parties literally every Fri, Sat and sometimes Sunday night. Most neighbors have small children but tolerate the really loud noise despite the fact it's so regular and a nightmare with young children, because they normally finish by midnight and we all don't want to complain. However the last two weekends this has started again and the amount of people present clearly are breaching lockdown rules. I really hate being that person, but should we report?
  6. Love Brickhouse, couldn't agree more with the posts above, so disappointing they have been forced out of both sites. Depending where you live, Browns in Brockley is fantastic for bread and coffee (the coffee on par if not slightly better-though both use Square Mile, and bread second only to Brickhouse) and the guys who run it are lovely, I'd give my money to them any day over Gail's, even if further to travel.
