I wouldn't bother with Russell, on ED forum recommendations we got him over to take a look at a roof leak. It was really difficult to get an appointment and time. When he did show, he knew his stuff and was very chatty and reasonable, he promised a quick quote and to fit us in before xmas. 3 weeks later and despite multiple emails, texts and calls - we've had 0 communication from him. Don't waste your time, he clearly doesn't care about yours.

We also highly recommend Joe. He fitted two cupboards for us to make the most of space in our top floor bedrooms. He was helpful from the get go, speedy with the fitting and we are super pleased with the finish of the cupboards (great quality!). Thanks Joe!

Our house on Overhill Rd was burgled on Thursday night - they broke in the back door and stole a load of jewellery. It is worth being vigilant. We have reported it to the police.

We are looking for a really good cleaner to come to us once a week for four hours. We need the usual stuff really, hoovering, polishing, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms etc. - but very thorough! No ironing or making beds etc. as we do all of that! Any recommendations would be really helpful as we are new to the area.

We have just moved in and have some furniture (in good condition) that we no longer need:

- Large wardrobe

- Kitchen table with 2x benches and 2x chairs

- TV stand

Pictures attached. We are open to price so if you're interested let us know what you're willing to pay. We would make sure it's a Covid-safe transaction so will clean it and leave it at the end of the driveway for pick up.
