Garden parties aren?t allowed. You aren?t supposed to visit relatives, friends etc even if you stay outside .
-
Stay at home to save lives.
Or pop out for an ice cream.

1. When am I allowed to leave the house?
You should only leave the house for very limited purposes:
shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household
any medical need, including to donate blood, avoid or escape risk of injury or harm, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
travelling for work purposes, but only where you cannot work from home

Over sixteen thousand people have died from covid-19. Why is your ?treat? more important than their lives? Seriously get over yourself and your entitlement to ?treats?. We would all like to go back to our normal lives but if we did that then hundreds of thousands more people would die. Get a grip. Sorry to be harsh but you are actually talking about ice cream. Stay home, save lives.

It?s not worth catching or spreading covid for an ice cream. It?s not essential. Just apply common sense.
-
It is quite clear ?basic necessities? and as ?infrequently as possible?.

Unfortunately leaving the house to cheer yourself up is not allowed.

Am pretty shocked that the ice cream shop is open. Whilst take away are allowed, people should only be leaving their house for essential shopping and doing so as infrequently as possible. Queuing up for an ice cream is not either of those.
Why are garden parties with members from different households allowed???
