The bulk waste team are still refusing to collect mattresses.

They collected a few smaller items from my address yesterday but left 2 mattresses.

No explanation was given and I am now having to chase the council to come back and collect.

Given there is now a charge for collection this is not good enough.

I have experienced problems with the post for years. But I discovered today that a number of letters addressed to me were misdelivered and then returned to sender marked "not at this address", meaning that I was removed from the maling list altogether. There is no way of knowing to whom they were incorrectly posted to.

It seems that people are often advised to mark any unwanted post "return to sender."

However, only letters for your address but for a different person should be returned.

Misdelivered items can be reposted in any postbox with a note to say they were misdelivered. This also alerts the recipient that their post went astray in the first place (so that we can complain to Royal Mail and build up a pattern of the problems)

This is not to excuse Royal Mail who should not be misdelivering items as frequently as they do. But this may explain many items which are written off as "lost".

You may not be aware but the electronic board on the London bound platform has been broken since Saturday and so there is no information about train times. Please can you advise when this will be fixed.

Re Ladygooner - The screen in the entrance is quite slow to update and being that it is in a small confined space I don't feel that is a realistic option in peak hours. The other issue is the delay in actually reporting late running/ cancelled trains. With the exception of the 8.15, which in my experience has never been on time, it seems all trains are listed as on tiem until after they are due....

It is definitely a much bigger problem in se22 than other areas of london. I get most of my post delivered to work now - in SE1 and it has all arrived safely within a few days.

Around half of the post - letters etc sent to my home address goes missing.

The greendale land is owned by Southwark Council and leased to the football club. The lease is up for renewal and the council are looking for alternative options according to a recent newsletter.

I can't see them allowing building on the site. It appears they want it kept as a nature conservation site which would prevent development.

Can I suggest an departures screen at the bottom of the London bound platform next to the ticket machine.

Currently we have to buy a ticket and walk to the top of the slope only to find out trains are cancelled / delayed.
