Hi Tori - I think we all realise that they are meant to be ‘temporary’ but the FoI request response (which I have seen) suggests that even the temporary scheme was rushed through with at least two suggestions of participants in the email exchange looking for ways to circumvent the Council’s standard governance procedures. How are we to trust that if they were to revisit the temporary measures that the Council would actually follow due process? I understand (through word of mouth) that the level of non-support for the ‘Dulwich Square’ was way higher than those in support - and here are more than 1m spent on the project when there is an enormous park just a few minute’s walk away.
I am pleased to see a new candidate in the field as unfortunately the current DW cohort has arguably stopped listening to the constituents - CPZ, GALA and now Ryedale.
