  1. There is this ‘survey’’ that started the discussions (the one with the council member suggesting the cheapest, not the best option) then of course once the order was issued (after a dubious Council process) there was the walk around and online ones with overwhelming views against the traffic order.
  2. So obviously considering the views of your constituents not a thing….
  3. Hi Tori - I think we all realise that they are meant to be ‘temporary’ but the FoI request response (which I have seen) suggests that even the temporary scheme was rushed through with at least two suggestions of participants in the email exchange looking for ways to circumvent the Council’s standard governance procedures. How are we to trust that if they were to revisit the temporary measures that the Council would actually follow due process? I understand (through word of mouth) that the level of non-support for the ‘Dulwich Square’ was way higher than those in support - and here are more than 1m spent on the project when there is an enormous park just a few minute’s walk away. I am pleased to see a new candidate in the field as unfortunately the current DW cohort has arguably stopped listening to the constituents - CPZ, GALA and now Ryedale. *DH not DW
  4. Yes - through an FoI request on the Ryedale scheme - those are direct quotes from the disclosed email correspondence
  5. One of my neighbours received a pack of info through a FoI request…. full of things like I "If we could bypass the internal governance processes to move this project forward" "likely to be a contentious scheme, with not much evidence to justify it"
  6. From the Council meeting approving the temporary order https://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/documents/s130470/Report Ryedale experimental closure.pdf it actually says they know it will adversely affect Dunstans and St A - but will deal with that later from paragraph 15. Note: These objectives will be achieved by reducing the volume of traffic on Ryedale. This reduction of conflict would make Ryedale a safer and more pleasant environment for pedestrians and cyclists. Officers have made ward councillors aware that the neighbouring roads of Dunstans Road and St Aidans Road will suffer the detrimental effect of displaced traffic. Councillors are happy to proceed with these proposals and investigate Dunstans and St Aidans Roads at a later date.
  7. It was hardly a ‘survey’ - speeding on Ryedale is bad - choose one 100% it’s not just going to evaporate
  8. After discovering Aston on the EDF was very pleased with his work to fix a cupboard door. He will def be ion speed dial for other issues around the house.
  9. Don’t put your CPZ views on twitter - Big Brother at the Council doesn’t like it
  10. We had a great experience with Dave and his team. Dave was really good at helping coordinate other odds and ends with handymen, plumbers and electricians around the core painting.
