Recommendation for drama classes for 7 year old?
PippaD replied to AnnieT's topic in The Family Room Discussion
There is a lovely small drama class in forest hill, by fire station run by roar edge productions. different classes for different ages My boys are 10/14 and love going and performing. The company also does Lamda exams, if that's want you want to do. Very affordable and fun, the drama teacher previously taught classes at the east Dulwich academy of music and performing arts. For more information please e-mail Rosie [email protected] -

New council vandalism in PR Park? (change of lighting)
PippaD replied to Lee Scoresby's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Although the Victorian style lights are wonderful to look at, in my opinion, they don't provide a lot of light to that particular pathway in dark afternoons/ night's and though the new ones can be considered "ugly", they will provide more light hence more security. Just my view and sure others have their own. -

Does anyone know if they met the requirements for last Fridays deadline? If you need childcare locally, please try nanny Penny (& Toyan) on the forum who have spaces in their home from home setting. -
Crystals pharmacy do it, in nunhead. Both my boys have had it done there. Just ring them to find out when the person that does it is in Very professional, in my opion.

Looking for young musicians, actors and dancers
PippaD replied to East Dulwich Academy's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello Just to say, My eldest has been at the academy drama classes since it first began. He's thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that his younger brother also joined. Youngest was much quieter but his confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. Youngest also plays an instrument and is part of the band, the teachers are so supportive of the children and their varying abilities. I would not hesitate to recommend this academy to anyone interested in Music, drama or dance. -

Round about at the bottom of lordship lane
PippaD replied to TGAGE's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
No idea what is right, I call it the bottom by the roundabout, also call the end of rye lane by Tesco and Barclays the bottom!! However, as to the original thread, I picked up the bricks that had been left in the road and lumped them up onto the grass of the roundabout. Always worried about bikes and moter vehicles hitting these and causing a bigger accident!!! Actually, second Tuesday in a row I've done this!!! Hope Southwark council collect them and fix it soon -
Thank you to all that came to a wet but fun Nutbrook street party Good fun was had by all that attended
