I know, I know, plenty of forelock tugging. :(

If you can find it within your heart to attend that meeting, please please do. If not for Alan Dale (who probably is more concerned with house prices ;-)), then at least for the secular future of our community services.

So Alan Dale was claiming it was a W hotel, and it isn't a hotel at all, and you are doing forelock tugging?

FFS what's come over you Huge-nut?

Well I was only forelock tugging in the sense that there are clearly worse things than bullshitting about a W-hotel to increase your house price.

I've also come under a little flak and thought making my criticism a little less obvious wouldn't be a terrible idea. For long-termers like yourself Louisiana I'd imagine that the irony would be apparent. ;-)

    • Dog kennel isn't a great name for a school. I agree that it's ridiculous for the name to put anyone off going there, but don't see any issue with them rebranding if the parents and children prefer a new name. The school is surrounded by historical 'groves' (reflected in the names of Camberwell Grove, Grove park and Grove Vale for example), so it's not a totally random name.
    • It might help if there are body cams to record evidence and a presence maybe a deterrent but I very much doubt a park warden would intervene with obnoxious and violent thugs - children or not. We need police for that.
    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
