Broken lock on a washing machine door

Evening all,

It's never fun to find that you can't get your washing out of a washing machine, even when all the water's drained. Anyone know someone who can help to open the door of a Hotpoint HVF344?

This happened to me recently so I googled 'how to open broken washing machine door'. It was so easy to do - all you need is a long piece of string or ribbon. It's difficult to explain what to do so just google it. Hope this helps.
