Thank you,

Lindi Lu.

I found Lindy Lu at the local gym at the beginning of my pregnancy, and then started doing pregnancy yoga at her gorgeous studio each week for the past few months. I couldn't recommend it enough, not only do you do the yoga, but you also have the chance to meet other local mums, get taught about different birthing positions and breaths as well have have a wonderful relax at the end in her wonderful studio.

I have looked forward to my yoga classes each week, and will miss them when they're over for sure!

I can't believe how much value I've got out of going to Lindi's yoga during my pregnancy - I wasn't really sure what to expect, but she guides you though gentle exercises that help with mobility, birthing positions and breathing as well as getting you in the right mindset for a positive birth experience. She's a breath of fresh air and knows so much about birthing - her weekly session has really grounded me and help me as I move through pregnancy. It's a great place to meet other mums to be. Her studio in Peckham is also quite magical with it's beautiful views.
Lindi was a great yoga teacher - her sessions were the highlight of my week when I was pregnant last year. It's a really gentle, relaxing class with a focus on birth preparation. I had a wonderful home birth which was definitely aided by the breathing techniques and exercises that I did with Lindi.

    • A lot to agree with here - don’t get me started on Irish people complaining about immigration! - but that final paragraph is once again a cop out  there’s a lot of extreme right wing money stirring up the division that people are feeling - but there is zero excuse for handing power to these people. We live in a democracy and if we have enough people willing to give it up then judging those people foolish enough to do so is not only something that will happen, it is something that the rest of us should be morally compelled to do  if someone wouldn’t “normally” vote for a racist party yet somehow will do so because they hear someone like me saying that would be bad, then you better believe I’m judging them

    • The current wave of xenophobia is due to powerful/influential people stirring up hatred.  It;'s what happened in the past, think 1930s Germany.  It seems to be even easier now as so many get their information from social media, whether it is right or wrong.  The media seeking so called balance will bring some nutter on, they don't then bring a nutter on to counteract that. They now seem to turn to Reform at the first opportunity. So your life is 'shite', let;s blame someone else.  Whilst sounding a bit like a Tory, taking some ownership/personal responsibility would be a start.  There are some situations where that may be more challenging, in deindustrialised 'left behind' wasteland we can't all get on our bikes and find work.  But I loathe how it is now popular to blame those of us from relatively modest backgrounds, like me, who did see education and knowledge as a way to self improve. Now we are seen by some as smug liberals......
