ryedalema
Okay, okay - I know this is a much loved subject - but I just wondered whether your child had ever done this. We seem to have gone from the sublime to the cor blimey. A few weeks ago #1 child was not interested in potty training at all - now she wants to go to the toilet every five minutes (even at night). I figure there's an aspect of sibling jealousy here. When she's on the toilet she gets our undivided attention. Also she gets stickers for a chart which is very appealing. Most times she actually produces something - sometimes you know she's just delaying bedtime.Any tips on overcoming this? Pickle
We went through this with our son - he was up umpteen times in the night saying he needed the toilet, would sometimes manage a little drip, yet was still very wet in the morning. Very difficult situation as you can't really say no to them. Thankfully after a few weeks of nights where it felt like having a newborn again he seemed to calm down again, and these days doesn't get up in the night at all.Hopefully she'll simply get through this phase like he did! Son was just under 2.5 when he was potty trained, and this phase happened a couple of months into it.
