d and l landscaping

I have had an awful experience with these landscapers which I took from a recommendation on the forum. Do NOT use D and L Landscaping. They have taken a large deposit and done a terrible job. If anyone else want to report them please get in touch as they need to be stopped before they rip anyone else off.

We feel that it is necessary to reply to this ridiculous slating from a very difficult former client. From the start of this job he has been strange; changing decisions already agreed on numerous occasions, and then not transferring funds needed to continue with the work as specified in the original quote and agreed by him. Instead of discussing this with us he has chosen to try to slander us on this forum and has made threats to" chase us down" and comments such as scumbags etc etc. We were warned by his current tennants that he is very difficult as a landlord and tried to avoid paying a previous tradesman which was worrying to hear. After not agreeing to further funding and suddenly becoming very rude and aggressive instead of calmly negotiating with us we decided to reluctantly stop the work and remove our tools. We have provided him with a breakdown of all costs/works and we are out of pocket. However, 2 days ago he was happy that we had "cracked the back of it" and what a complicated job it is.He is holding back over ?2000 pounds owed oabdn completion of 3 more days work. We were suspicious that as a property developer he doesn't appear to have a team working regularly for him. Finally he conducts himself in a highly unprofessional manner and we absolutely implore any local tradespeople to have nothing whatsoever to do with him. I would just like to add that he was uncontactable on far too many occasions when important decision needed to be made

    • If you’ve got four quid spare, go and try one. Myself, I like the mozzarella and spinach, but there’s no accounting.

    • You might want to try the Peckham Facebook community group. I am located in East Dulwich & have 2 well-used scratchers: A large single post (ideal for an adult cat) & a small cat tree with 2 short posts (ideal for kittens) While the wear & tear is nowhere near as bad as the one shown in the link below, ideally the sisal should be replaced to get the best use out of it (& neutralise the scent of another cat) hence why I haven't donated these to a shelter. You may find this link helpful: https://thegreenmadhouse.com/diy/how-to-repair-your-cat-scratcher But you can just get a brand new one between £10-£30 on Amazon that'll last much longer. It all depends on what type of scratcher you're looking for; material, size, vertical or horizontal. Your little lion will let you know by whether they're currently scratching down or up, like a mat or armchair for example. More than happy to send location & leave in front garden for pickup.
    • Would happily take it off your hands! Preferably in Peckham. Thanks 🙏🏻
