Donating baby clothes

A friend of mine has a whole load of lovely baby clothes she would like to donate to mums that are on a very low budget. Does anyone know how best to do this round here?

I have bags and bags of clothes I would love to give to a good home too - would really appreciate ideas too! Any family charities that could use them?

Me too - I advertised them on here for free and had no takers. Do you think Kings (or another hospital) would be interested? Or one of the midwife teams?

st christophers hospice charity shop (lordship lane opposite somerfield) takes baby and children's clothes and they sell them in the boxes by the window. the money goes to a good cause.

Good idea about St. Christophers. I get fed up with Freecycle. I've had so many people saying 'we must have it/them now' and then not turning up. I've kind of given up on it.

On this site you can advertise items for donation. Kind of like a freecycle for registered charities.

Or you could donate to a Mother and Baby Unit for mums with mental health issues who often have very litle money- the closest one is in Beckenham at the Bethlem Royal Hospital.
