SoLo Craft Fair 30th April Catford Constitutional Club - Free entry!

Recommended Posts

We cannot begin to explain how excited we are about SoLo Craft Fair's Spring Fling, we're just finishing up some final touches before doors open on Saturday 30th April at 12pm.

Our stall holders have been working hard preparing their products for the event. Here at SoLo Craft Fair we've already made a huge shopping list of all the wonderful handmade and vintage products we've been eyeing up over the past few months.

Our musicians have been tuning their instruments preparing to wow you all with their presence. Stables, a locally based lively folk band will be playing at 3pm, followed by Celtic Hearts at 4pm, an amazing traditional Irish band.

In terms of workshops - we'll have onsite printing by artist Anthi Chrysanthou so if you fancy becoming an artist yourself for the day - she'll be the one to lead you. Silver Blossom Jewellery will be giving children and adults the opportunity to make their own pieces inspired by the Silver Blossom range.

Blue Lion Face Painting will be there to decorate your children (or yourselves!) with a huge collection of characters and designs - who will you be? Tillie and Matt Children's parties will be there to make balloon animals, so you're children will be well and truly entertained! So don't worry!

    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
