Art tuition for children of all ages, nannying

Recommended Posts

Hello, my name is Felicity and I am offering art tuition for children of all ages and experience. I am flexible with my time, and am based in South East London. I can offer tuition one on one or for larger groups of children, for parties or after school clubs.

I recently graduated with a Fine Art Ba(hons) degree at City and Guilds of London Art School, and am a practising artist and designer. I also have experience in botanical painting and drawing, having studied at Chelsea School of Botanical Art.

I am confident with looking after children, having had previous nannying and babysitting jobs, and would be happy to combine after school tuition with nannying work. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this further.

I can offer either my own course for general out of school practise, or structure it around a child's school work to help improve their skill levels and learn some new techniques. I am very flexible with this, and think it best to speak with both parent and child to work something out that would fit for both of you.

Basic materials like paper, pencils etc I assume would be available, although I would be happy to provide these if not. Any more specialised materials say for printmaking or sculptural work I would happily source.

English is my first language although I am (slightly rusty!) fluent in French having been to the Lycee, so would be more than happy to speak in French during classes if a child was a French speaker or bi-lingual.

My rates are flexible, depending on what type of tuition is needed and am happy to work something out for regular tuition. My basic rate would be ?20 p/h.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss, my email address is [email protected].

    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
    • Clicking on your name, I see you've made seven posts on here since you joined  around four years ago, and they've all been about local libraries. And none of the posts are  very pleasant. Care to share with the rest of us where  your particular interest in libraries comes from? Do you work in one of them?
