Er, yes it is a crime. You told us that in your last sentence.

It may not be in many people's eyes dangerous, including IAM (as long as you're wearing a Sam Brown), Police Roadcraft etc and if seen you may not get stopped, but it's still against the law and by doing so you are liable to prosecution.

It won't go away! As long as stupid and dangerous drivers and people who take no responsibility for themselves exist, resulting in all of us being targetted, it simply won't go away.
