damzel
Yes it works fine but I keep looking at the those little buttons at the bottom thinking how perfect they would be for the different forum content thingies Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10355-iphone-app/#findComment-305077 Share on other sites
GW
There's an app, tapatalk, which is good for viewing and posting on to forums, versions of it available for almost all smartphones including the iPhone. I've asked the administrator to see if it's possible to enable it for EDF but no word back as yet. Siduhe
I'm pretty sure that Tapatalk only works on vBulletin software, not Phorum (which is what this forum runs on). mockney piers
"Don't suppose there's an iPhone app for EDF on it's way is there?"Bit of a limited sales potential though isn't there. 10,000ish have ever posted. I wouldn't expect more than about 1 in ten to have an iphone. 1000 potential sales meaning you'd have to charge about ?10 to make it vaguely worth your while writing the thing, and I can't see anyone paying more than 59p (being generous, ?1.19 at a pinch) for it.But i might give it a go just for the hell of it. I've been trying to think of something to do just for the exercise, and 'Fancy A Pint' haven't got back to me :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10355-iphone-app/#findComment-305148 Share on other sites
mockney piers
There is something called Tapatalk which looks vaguely interesting. I don't know if admin has the time or inclination to investigate it, but it seems pretty useful as a generic forum app which can integrate with forums.Anything that makes smartphone fourm interaction less painful would be most welcome.http://www.tapatalk.com/mobile.php Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10355-iphone-app/#findComment-445029 Share on other sites
karter
Looks good MP if it works well enough with this. Or you could be on to a winner if you made one yourself, for each region even.
