Happy to give a recommendation for Fede who has been cutting both my hair and my wife?s hair for the last year and we wouldn?t go anywhere else now.

The quality of his haircuts is better than anything I?ve ever had from any other hairdressers and the fact he?s a lovely guy and based locally is a massive bonus.

Fede is a hair genius... I wouldn't let anyone else near me with a scissors now.

Last night a friend told me my hair looked the best it ever had, no coincidence that the comment came a week after Fede had cut it.

I urge you to support your local Italian hair magician!

I can't tell you how pleased I was to find Fede in East dulwich - he understood perfectly what I was asking for straight away - I need a cut which looks good with basically no styling and grows out beautifully so I don't have to get it cut all the time - im not very good at specific instructions but he just knew what to do. He has great chat, great gossip and he's brilliant with my one year old too. I wouldn't go to anyone else now!

Wow... Just tried this guy on the off chance after reading his comments. What an experience! This guy is truly an amazing talent. He's worked for Vogue, Marie Claire and pretty much every high end fashion house and magazine you'd care to mention.

I can defiantly recommend using him.

I'd definitely recommend Fede as he has been highlighting my hair for years. He definitely understands blonde hair and gets the right amount of tones that I'm after. I have had previous salons turn my hair really yellow before, which I wasn't happy with.

I also have really thick hair and previous cuts have left me looking like I have a triangle haircut. I like a textured layered cut and Fede has always done a great job that requires no maintenance. He cuts the whole families' hair and with small kids the fact that he comes to the house is great.

I just had my hair cut and coloured by Fede and am very happy to recommend him!

He came to see me in advance for a consultation and perfectly understood what I need: a very natural looking colour and an elegant but easy cut.

Fede is very professional, punctual, accurate, and a really nice person!

I was a bit uncertain about having my hair cut at home but in fact it is time saving and the whole focus is on you, great plus!

I had my hair coloured and cut by federico last Thursday and I am very happy with both the experience and the result. So nice to have it done in the comfort of your house and Federico was great to have around. He was very efficient, understood what I wanted, patient and very fun too!

I'm very pleased with my haircut and I thoroughly recommend him.

Fede has been cutting my hair for 5 years. He's always done a great job... and I find my hair re-invents itself into a nice shape even when it gets longer. He's pretty flexible on time, and has cut my toddlers hair a few times now as well at the same time.

Big fan here.

    • The current wave of xenophobia is due to powerful/influential people stirring up hatred.  It;'s what happened in the past, think 1930s Germany.  It seems to be even easier now as so many get their information from social media, whether it is right or wrong.  The media seeking so called balance will bring some nutter on, they don't then bring a nutter on to counteract that. They now seem to turn to Reform at the first opportunity. So your life is 'shite', let;s blame someone else.  Whilst sounding a bit like a Tory, taking some ownership/personal responsibility would be a start.  There are some situations where that may be more challenging, in deindustrialised 'left behind' wasteland we can't all get on our bikes and find work.  But I loathe how it is now popular to blame those of us from relatively modest backgrounds, like me, who did see education and knowledge as a way to self improve. Now we are seen by some as smug liberals......
    • Kwik Fit buggered up an A/C leak diagnosis for me (saying there wasn't one, when there was) and sold a regas. The vehicle had to be taken to an A/C specialist for condensor replacement and a further regas. Not impressed.
    • Yes, these are all good points. I agree with you, that division has led us down dangerous paths in the past. And I deplore any kind of racism (as I think you probably know).  But I feel that a lot of the current wave of xenophobia we're witnessing is actually more about a general malaise and discontent. I know non-white people around here who are surprisingly vocal about immigrants - legal or otherwise. I think this feeling transcends skin colour for a lot of people and isn't as simple as, say, the Jew hatred of the 1930s or the Irish and Black racism that we saw laterally. I think people feel ignored and looked down upon.  What you don't realise, Sephiroth, is that I actually agree with a lot of what you're saying. I just think that looking down on people because of their voting history and opinions is self-defeating. And that's where Labour's getting it wrong and Reform is reaping the rewards.
    • @Sephiroth you made some interesting points on the economy, on the Lammy thread. Thought it worth broadening the discussion. Reeves (irrespective of her financial competence) clearly was too downbeat on things when Labour came into power. But could there have been more honesty on the liklihood of taxes going up (which they have done, and will do in any case due to the freezing of personal allowances).  It may have been a silly commitment not to do this, but were you damned if you do and damned if you don't?
