Bike geek question

I'm in need of a new bike (having had my old one stolen) and I'm very interested in one with a Gates Belt Drive

Does anyone have any experience of belt driven bikes that they can pass on ? My main concern is around maintaining the belt tension correctly especially if I have a puncture and have to remove the rear wheel to repair.
