Fair point, my logic deserted me :-$

i'm also a massive fan of streetcar, been using their cars and vans for years now, in fact i beleive my o/h is using a streetvan right now to take a load of stuff to the tip! you do need to a book a week in advance to get cars at the weekend so the addition of some extra cars is much needed and much appreciated. during the week you can ususally find a car/van nearby pretty much instantly. We use it mostly for "big shops" at sainos, b&q, trips to the tip and ikea.
Streetcar's USP over other renatal companies is the convenience in tems of collecting, or for those moving a few bits and pieces for an hour or so. Otherwise for day rental I'd suggest people look to local hire companies, far more cost effective.

I really recommend streetcar. With lots of children doing different activities all in different places with different kit, using streetcar has meant we didn't have to buy a second car which for financial and eco reasons I really didn't want to do. Yes you do have to be a bit organised, but it suits us. Using one tomorrow and another point to take into consideration in the financial case is not having to pay congestion charge if you are going into town.

PS the cars are all new (ish) and much nicer than our car!

    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
