affordable photographer: events, child & wedding photography

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm a local photographer & would like to offer affordable photography to people in my area!

I have several years experience shooting events, portraits and weddings, as well as fashion editorial & commercial photographs. My style is candid, friendly and relaxed, and I love doing what I do!

I don't have any expensive packages or limits on how many photos I will send to you -- As a guide I generally offer ?50 per hour for events and child portraits, but each job is different so let me know what you need! (Contact me for wedding rates)

When the job is done I will edit & grade all the best photos and send them along to you, or can do whatever you would prefer. (My last session taking pictures of a child lasted 1.5 hrs and I sent along ~60 pictures.)

[i can also offer analog photography for portraits if you would like]

Thanks!

Sophie

I would like to definitely recommend Sophie. We recently did a photo shoot with her for our 11 month old daughter and couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Not only because of the reasonable price she charges and the end result which turned out to be amazing photos of our family in the park on a gorgeous sunny day, but from the time I contacted her she was very enthusiastic and flexible which is very important for families with babies.

She is very friendly, professional, honest and loves her work which could be clearly seen in the hour we spent with her. She let us have our say in what kind of photos we wanted to do and of course added her professional touch to make sure she captures the shot in the right light. We loved the photos and have already booked her in for my daughter's 1st Birthday party.

I was extremely happy with her especially after going through another photographer from the forum who wasted my time by saying she will do the shoot on a particular day and then weeks after when that day came closer saying she could no longer fit me in!

Sophie was completely the opposite of that and I would recommend her to anyone.

    • Ohh dear.  Fireworks can be great fun.  Where I used to live the kids would have firework wars/games.  Watching them was more enjoyable than watching  TV. (Which you could hardly hear due to the pops and bangs).  It's not like anyone/anything could stop them. I would still prefer organised public displays that are affordable.   And I agree that fireworks cause problems for wild life, pets and people.   It seems to be one of those things that just happens so we have to put up with it.  But it is still not as problematic here as in other areas in London - that's for sure.
    • I made sure to set off a few today just to rile you guys up 😇😂 Always looking for something to criticise
    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may  be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
