Hello!


I am currently looking for a temporary childcare role for June and July, as I am returning to London for the summer after spending the last six months in New York where I have been working as a part-time nanny and researcher.


I have both a solid background in?and passion for?childcare: I nannied and tutored through both my bachelor?s and master?s degrees in order to put myself through university. I found that this was the ideal role at the time because I love working with children and it allowed me the opportunity to work as an after-school nanny/tutor whilst attending university.


I have a genuine strength and passion for this type of work, I have stellar recommendations from past families and would be more than happy to put you in contact with them, and I can also provide you with my full DBS check.

      Gosh, that is a blast from the past.  Friends in York were into this, he was an accountant and had things like decorating done in exchange.  Not sure if it was equivalent in terms of hours, and I recall HMRC being interested as it was a way of tax avoidance.   A link for a London wide scheme but have no idea of its popularity: https://www.londonwide.letslink.org/members/index.php

      Is anyone else having problems trying to register their car for a residents LTN permit for upland road as the council web site only seems to want to allow blue badge holders a permit .

      How late is your Christmas Card

      Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.

      There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits,
