Recommended Posts

Looking to meet up regularly with other local amateur musicians. Happy to jam on standard rock fare: Bowie, Stones etc...

- Very easy going

- Fun

- No pressure or egos

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

Shazza - if you go to the Dulwich Jam you can form 20 bands, all in one night. First time I ever 'played' with 'a band' was there a few months ago, if you wanna make connections it's all there on a plate for you - just get down there and get talking to everyone (and much more efficient than traipsing through loads of musicians one at a time).

What's more you can hear dozens of LOCAL musicians playing. Beer is cheap, it's true.

Like Otta said, it's real friendly and sans attitude.

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
