Children's party entertainer - recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My partner and I are getting married later this year and as we have a number of children coming, then we are looking for an entertainer who can perhaps take some pressure off parents and also make the day a little more fun for the kids.

The challenge is that there is a real mix of ages, there will be around 10 children between ages of 2-5 years and then around 12 children between ages of 6-10. I am assuming that what may work for the lower age range, might not work for the slightly older group. Does this mean perhaps two different types of entertainment or could there be a 1 size fits all?

We have a separate room as part of the venue for an entertainer, plus also going to hire some childcare/nannies to help with 'crowd control'. So any advice or tips for this type of children's event are appreciated and of course any recommendations for specific entertainers warmly welcome.

Thank you!

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.

They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
