Hi all, one of our housemates is moving out shortly and we are looking for a replacement. If of interest, please me me know below or by pm! We are having several people over this Sunday,5th June. No gender preferences, only ages 22 - 28 please :)



The room is huge & you will have lots of space for activities. The room comes furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed and mattress (the mattress is brand new), you are free to change the room around, the stickers on the wall will be removed.


The house also has 2 bathrooms, a large lounge room and a kitchen with a washing machine.


You will be living with 2 guys and 3 girls, all working, friendly and easy going people who take pride in keeping the house clean. We like to socialise as a house but also are also quite independent. So we are looking for housemates who are of a similar nature & who are tidy and clean up after themselves.


The area is beautiful, if you?re new to London its a homely suburb, lots of cafes, restaurants, 10 mins walk to East Dulwich station, 5-10 min bus ride to Peckham & Forest Hill which all get you to London bridge in 10 mins. The overground also takes you to Canada water not far from the financial district of canary wharf. There are 24 hour busses, the 12, 40 and 176 that come very frequently and drop you off around the corner from the house.


Breakdown of the fees:

Rent is ?583.33 pcm and is due on the 1st of every month

Bills: ?65 pcm (includes council tax, unlimited internet, water, gas and electricity)

Deposit: ?807.69


Please give me a call for a viewing, no time wasters the bond amount is not negotiable as it is held in a government deposit under the leaseholders names and you get it back when you move out, the rent is also not negotiable and comparable for the area.

      Central London, partularly Soho and Fitzrovia, seems to be more about sneaky crimes like hugger-muggering and pickpocketing rather than anything violent these days. I'd never wear a decent watch if I went into town in the evening. There are a couple of places, like Tottenham, Hackney'and Harlesden, I'm particularly on my guard in - mainly because I don't really know them too well. Bits of New Cross and Deptford can be a bit hairy, as well. The parts of central London which were dodgiest twenty or thirty years ago, King's Cross or Shoreditch for example, have changed beyond recognition.  Statistically, London is safer than it was thirty years ago. Wobbling around the Elephant after a heavy night in the Ministry of Sound wasn't a great move around 2000; it wouldn't seem as idiotic these days. It's still not pleasant though and you have to keep your wits about you in Camberwell after midnight, even now. Overall, most of London is far safer, statistically, than the smaller provincial cities and larger towns. Middlesbrough is genuinely scary after dark, which is strange because the people are lovely during the day. Likewise Bradford and Hull. Apart from the lovely people, clearly. Other than the 'Unite the Kingdom' march last week, I've never really seen the drunken flag waving you mention. Not in London, anyway.  I'd avoid the Medway towns, if I was you.

      Children's funfair on Goose green.

      I don't really see the issue.  It's taking  up a small part of Goose Green.  I was able to happily eat my lunch there today witthout the fair impinging on my space or enjoyment. I presume they have chosen that location as it is near the playground, so parents with young children often go there at the weekend.       Here you go again trying to twist things saying I made personal saying I don't feel safe, but it's you firing and demanding answers, you're not the police and nor are you a moderator. No its not a reasonable question, nor is saying I should go live somewhere else.  You have a habit on here of "demanding" answers, not on.
