Summer internship: Coman & Co

Coman

Recommended Posts

An opportunity has arisen for an internship at the office of Coman & Co accountants, East Dulwich. The role would suit a school leaver, recent graduate or student seeking work during the summer holidays.

The role would include a mixture of administrative work, as well as some involvement in the day to day running of an accountancy business. It is a good, work experience opportunity.

The rate of pay would be in keeping with that of an intern. However, no prior experience would be necessary. The hours would not be full time. A desire to work in finance and gain experience with an established Chartered Accountant will be regarded favourably.

Please tender your interest via email to [email protected]. Your application should include no more than 100 words, and should state:

Name and address

Desired hours of work, availability during the summer and rate of pay.

A brief summary of education;

and any relevant experience, even if unpaid.

Please do not telephone us. Suitable applicants will be contacted in due course, and there is no need to telephone at this stage.

    • If that better choice, better price and better availability were available locally instead of being delivered - what choice would you make? Not everyone makes ethical choices yet consumers have all the power. If you realised that your changing your consumer decisions could directly impact the environment around you, would you make different choices?
    • Another strong recommendation for Niko! As a first time buyer, I was new to choosing my own tradespeople, and Niko was recommended by a neighbour. My jobs were simple -- checking a macerating toilet, replacing the internal water mains stopcock valve, and replacing the tap on a bath so it could become a shower -- but he did them very efficiently and professionally. His prices were very reasonable. He gave good advice on all of the above projects and really cared about helping me adjust to being a homeowner, making sure I was making the best decisions for my house in the long term. This sort of advice is invaluable when you don't yet know what you are doing! I will absolutely be calling him again.
    • It is not laziness that sends me shopping on the Internet, it's also the better choice, better prices, and also the availability of items impossible to obtain either locally or in central London. I try to avoid Amazon for both ethical and quality issues.  The internet has enabled many small businesses to trade which would not have been possible before, surely that's a good thing.  The genie is well out of the bottle.
