Undiscovered
Just given birth to my third female! So I have 3 girls under 5. Does anyone have any recommendations for good reads around the subject of raising girls. I'm especially interested in confidence (as my main observations in the workplace with regard to difference in gender are about this). But any books in this area are of interest (if there any that's d give me a laugh too that's be much appreciated!!) uncleglen
It was interesting to note that on the subject of the gender difference that was found as regards pocket money this week, I caught some kind of expert saying that the reason that boys get more is that they will negotiate whereas girls will just take what is given to them...this of course spreads into the workplace where women do not argue their corner...a psychologist friend said that women will be labelled a negative 'pushy' and men will be praised as 'assertive' in the same circumstances....Good luck finding something Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/109251-book-recommendations-welcome-raising-girls/#findComment-1005570 Share on other sites
