Email problem. Tech help/advice needed please.

So none of my emails will send (Google mail) and I haven't received any for a number of days. When I try to send they sit in the outbox folder as 'Failed'. I'm told that when someone sends to me it seems like it is successful but doesn't arrive with me. I have several devices syncing to same email, none work. Internet is fine and working as normal. I've put my email address into that website 'haveibeenpwned' to see if I've been hacked but it reckons not.

Any ideas to resolve gratefully received??

Are you using an app? Have you tried going directly to the Google Mail website and checking what is happening there?

Yes, tried that. Same problem. I've never experienced anything like it. So confusing, I'm not really that tech savvy as it is so don't know where to begin. I've emailed Google but no idea if they will get back to me?

Oh dear, tried that again Loz and it turns out that can't send or receive emails as out of storage space. I have 37,000+ unopened emails. Right, so now I know the problem I just need two weeks of boredom deleting emails to solve it. Thanks Loz.

36,000 of them are probably from Google telling you that you are out of storage space!
