The Goodrich School Summer Fair takes place on Saturday 18 June between 2-5pm.

Organised by Friends of Goodrich, the parent teacher association, it is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the school.

This year there are loads of stalls and activities including Sumo Wrestling, Tin Can Alley, Bouncy Castles, Lucky Dip, Hoopla, Limbo competition, Famous Faces and Arts and Crafts.

There's also the Annual Goodrich Summer Show with the best in baking, sewing and making...

Live music and the debut of the Goodrich Sausage, our very own recipe banger for the BBQ.

If you wanted to volunteer to help at the fair, and are a parent at the school, you'd be very welcome. Everyone else, just come and have fun!

  This is a huge part of the problem. Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country. There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.

  I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00, apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car! Wtf! Anyone heard anything else?

  What standing on the world stage? Starmer is a wannebe leader, no charisma, no passion, no leadership but tonnes of dithering, wringing his hands and pooing his pants. I'd love to see Burnham give him a run for his money. Reason he became Mayor of Manchester was due to him no longer wanting to be in front line politics.
