FREE; play kitchen, sand/garden toys & more

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a blue spotty ELC play kitchen, it's missing one door & has been stored in a playhouse outside for a couple of years but has been cleaned up today and would be lovely for a toddler to use instead of going to landfill!

Also have the following;

2 kids folding camping chairs

Selection of sand toys (dumper truck, moulds, rakes etc)

2 pool inflatables (1 is a boat & I think the other is a crocodile!)

Mini lawn mower

Set of IKEA kids plastic bowls, beakers & plates

Let me know if you can collect tomorrow (Friday) or over the weekend please.

  • 2 weeks later...

Some of the items were not collected from previous post so I can re offer the following;

2 kids camping chairs

dumper truck & digger for the sandpit

pool inflatables

IKEA bowls etc

To be collected from SE24 (Herne Hill), please PM me if interested, thanks.

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
